Hamilton Estate Venue Hire Policy

Donations amount will be agreed between the Hall Committee and Users to cover of hall use. A suggested donation for casual use of the hall is $25 per booking or $50 per 3 hours.

Waiuku Hamilton Estate Community Hall is NO SMOKING AND ALCOHOL FREE facility. Smokers are to go across the road or away from the hall, strictly no alcohol to be consumed inside and outside the building.

Bond $50 before hall hire to cover any damages of equipment and building.

Keys - The lending of keys is prohibited. the hirer is responsible for the loss of key and will be charged for replacing a key and the full cost of locks changed. The hirer is responsible for the return of keys to a hall warden. This must be completed as soon as possible of following hire. The warden will check the building and activate the alarms

USE - Only use the premises for the times and purpose approved by hall warden.
The maximum number of people permitted in the premises during hire is up to 100


Do not carry out any structural or physical alterations. Do not affix decorations, bunting to walls, ceilings or floors unless authorised.


Hirers are responsible for ensuring the lights, fans, heaters, taps, windows are checked locked and turned off or closed after use.


Restore the premises to the original setting after use


Report the hall warden as soon as possible any damage to the premises including damages to fixtures, waterlines, doors, walls, kitchen facilities ect. 

Do not use the premises in an illegal or offensive manner, kitchen left clean and remove rubbish, to public bins outside.


Hirers are required to clean the premises immediately after completion use.


Kitchen - Must be left in a clean and tidy state. All chopping is to be done on boards provided


Any kitchen utensils needed are the responsibility of the hirers as no equipment is supplied by committee.
Cleaning - Hirers are required to clean the premises immediately after completion of use
Floor swept and mopped
Toilet cleaned and hand basin wiped


Security - Before Vacating the premises ensure all exit doors and windows are closed and locked
Check the venue to make sure no person remains on the premises and that all lights heater and fans are turned off.
